PNG to PDF when image format matters

PNG or JPG?
Screenshots, diagrams and exported charts are usually PNG, which keeps sharp edges and can contain transparency. Camera photos are usually JPG. Use the tool that matches your files: PNG to PDF for PNGs, JPG to PDF for JPGs.
Steps
- Open PNG to PDF.
- Upload the PNG images in page order.
- Convert and download.
How the pages come out
- Each image becomes one page the size of the image, so screenshots of different sizes give pages of different sizes.
- Transparent areas show the PDF viewer's background, usually white. If you need a coloured background, add it to the image first.
- Text in a screenshot stays an image; it is not searchable.
Mixing formats
Convert the PNGs and the JPGs separately, then combine the two PDFs with Merge PDF.
