Start from the request

Re-read what the recipient asked for: "one PDF", "each document separately", or "only pages X to Y". The right tool follows directly.

One file from several: Merge PDF

Merge PDF joins up to 20 PDFs in the order you add them. Use it when a form accepts a single upload or you are sending a complete pack.

One file per page: Split PDF

Split PDF turns each page into its own PDF. Leave the pages box empty to split every page, or enter a range such as 1-3,5 to split only those pages. Each output file contains one page.

A section as its own file: Extract Pages

To make a multi-page file from part of a document — for example pages 4-9 — use Extract Pages. Run it once per section if you need several sections.
