How to sign a PDF without printing it

What you need
The PDF to sign, and a mouse, trackpad or touchscreen. The Sign PDF tool runs in the browser on computers and phones.
Steps
- Open Sign PDF and upload the document.
- Choose the Sign tool. Draw your signature, or type your name and pick a script style.
- Click the page where the signature belongs, then drag to adjust its position and size.
- Fill in any other fields, such as the date, with the Add Text tool.
- Click Save and download the signed PDF.
Is this kind of signature accepted?
The tool adds an image of your signature to the page. It is not a certificate-based digital signature and does not prove your identity. Whether that is acceptable depends on the document and on who receives it, so check with the recipient when it matters.
Sending it safely
If the document is sensitive, add a password with Protect PDF and share the password separately from the file.
